SPACE PATROL For DUMMIES
A Review With Commentary of the Episodes from Swapsale

by "Space Patroller Laser": 26 December, 2003
Second Edition 2007

Between Janauary and November of 2003, I viewed the 32 avaialable VHS "Lost episodes" and two of the Gold Edtions tapes, This is my review. It is rather long as I am dealing with over 100 episodes and wish to be concise, thorough, fair and honest to give as accurate an image of something about a half-centruy old as I can. It is more over-arching than specific as I have not the time, will nor space to write, nor do you have the same to read, an episode by episode account of over 100 episodes. You just need to know what you're buying-- and buying into. For that, you need to know about the time period, production values and what it was about. From those you can tell what to expect. Whether it will be to your liking is up to you.

In its inception Space Patrol For Dummies was to address the re-issue by Swapsale of many episodes of the program on VHS. However, over time. this has become a primier source of material for the novice to this whole thing and has been updated twice or thrice. So with it having outlived and outgrown it's original purpose, I have decided to make this the Second Edition and move it to the first spot in the list of orientation material. It covers a broader spectrum of material from the perspective of a viewer
